Woods, Boiled Cider

An old-fashioned New England staple, made in small batches by a Vermont family farm using their original 1882 cider press. Fresh apple cider is slowly reduced over a wood fire to about one-eighth its original volume, creating a rich, intensely flavored, sweet-tart apple syrup. Nothing added — just pure, concentrated apple cider! Drizzle over pancakes or ice cream, add to baked goods, or mix into hot drinks or seltzer water.
