Stella 14 Wines, Birches

Birches is a dark red bubbly wine in the petillant naturel style— a co-fermented blend of Frontenac Noir and Marquette, it is fermented on the skins, then pressed and bottled before it finishes fermentation. Smoky, a little herbaceous, with black and red fruit, it works beautifully with everything off the grill or as an ideal pizza wine— also magical with chartrutes! The name is a little homage to Robert Frost's famous poem.
