Czech style black lager. Brewed by the eccentric traditionalists at OEC Brewing using a painstaking, historic double decoction mash. After boiling, the beer rests in an open copper coolship before undergoing a cold open fermentation and months of cellaring. It pours deep black with a reddish-ruby hue. Expect smooth notes of dark chocolate, toasted pumpernickel, and roasted coffee, perfectly balanced by crisp European noble hops and a clean, refreshing lager finish.
