Historically used to treat scurvy by early colonists, spruce tips have long been steeped in beer and tea for its high vitamin C content. Piney, woody and resinous this Spruce Ale layers on top of a gentle malt backbone. Fresh and full, this beer is an ode to conifers and the ancient knowledge passed down from the indigenous peoples of New England.
