Barred Woods was founded as a collaborative partnership among four friends who share a passion for Vermont, making maple syrup, and preserving our forests. Their sugarbush is located on 1,300 pristine acres in the Green Mountains of Northern Vermont. Certified organic by the Northeast Organic Farming Association, certified Bird Friendly by Vermont Audubon, and the land is protected from development through the Vermont Land Trust, and managed to maximize carbon capture and monitored by the American Carbon Registry (ACR).
