Brasserie Dubuisson, Scaldis Blond Triple

Introduced in 2008 to celebrate the brand's 75th anniversary, Scaldis Blond Triple pours a hazy golden color with a frothy white head and expressive carbonation.   Top fermented and bottle conditioned, the brew boasts aromas of vanilla, banana, apricot, tangerine and peach as well as notes of clove and spice.  Taste follows a similar profile while including candy sugar, white chocolate and white pepper; a bigger hit of citrus is well balanced by slight herbal bitterness.  The warming power of the 10.5% ABV is softened by a light body and sparkling champagne-like effervescence.  
The finish is lingering, dry, and fruity.
