Bent Hill Brewery, Handwarmer Imperial Maple Stout

Rich, semi sweet and packed full of Maple. Built with a base of three different types of chocolate malt, a blend of dehusked and standard chocolate malt to increase the chocolate and toffee character without adding astringent bitterness or acidity that comes with highly kilned malt. A range of crystal malts and special B help balance the required sweetness to enhance the maple character in the finished product. This one is a heavy hitter but overall is very smooth with the right balance of sweetness to alcohol character. Brewed only once a year!
