Bent Hill Brewery, Growth Rings

American stout aged on Madagascar vanilla beans, organic Peruvian cacao and local 802 Coffee.  In the search to develop a lighter but full body stout, Bent Hill brewed a moderately low ABV beer but increased the use of oats, crystal malts and dehusked dark malts to bring a blend of rich chocolate and toffee character with very little bitterness or acidity to the beer prior to adding adjuncts. The result is a beautiful beer that is light yet absolutely packed with character.   5.0% ABV.
